Overview

A Viverae Onsite Health Coach provides lifestyle support within Viverae’s health management programs with enthusiasm and high-energy. Health Coaches connect with employees at work locations in efforts to improve well-being, achieve wellness goals, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Members of the Health Coaching team are expected to model healthy lifestyles, positive attitudes, high integrity, and corporate values.

Responsibilities

  • Provides onsite health coaching as well as outreach via telephone and secure messaging
  • Engages members using motivational interviewing methods and coaching skills
  • Assists members in completing program requirements as needed
  • Prepare and deliver presentations; via phone, webinar and in person
  • Delivers customer service that exceeds clients’ expectations and maintains positive relationships
  • Works directly with client and Viverae’s Client Relationship Manager in efforts to collect and distribute communications
  • Provides weekly coaching report and schedule to direct Supervisor
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the clients wellness program as well as applicable Viverae policies and procedures
  • Escalates high-level issues to ensure appropriate response and resolution
  • Identifies and understands client needs while keeping the key stakeholders of other departments informed
  • Other duties as assigned/special projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health promotion, exercise or wellness-related field
  • Certified health educator or wellness coach preferred
  • Previous wellness coordinating experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in health promotion, exercise or wellness-related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good public speaking and presentation skills, ability to work effectively and confidently within and across all levels of an organization
  • Exceptional organizational and time/deadline management, effectively manages expectations, plans the work and works the plan
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), email and the Internet
