The User Experience Hybrid is a UX professional whose background is in user interface design, but has migrated partially, or fully, to the architecture side of the discipline. The UX Hybrid is well-versed in human-centered design, information architecture, and interaction design; and can articulate and iterate through exploratory concepts to deliver a final product that meets business requirements and delights the user.


  • Execute thoughtful architecture and visual design principles
  • Conceptualize flows and wireframes
  • Deliver polished UI design comps
  • Generate prototypes to tell a story
  • Manage multiple projects at a time
  • Collaborate on user experience with architects, designers, and developers
  • Consult with product and technical leads to understand constraints, challenges, and limitations
  • Present work with passion and confidence
  • Give and receive constructive feedback
  • Educate constituents on UX best practices
  • Facilitate business requirements with user experience
  • Drive innovative solutions within technical limitations
  • Efficiently manage files and artifacts
  • Manage internal and external relationships as projects require
  • Assist with usability studies
  • Scope stories within the agile environment
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Problem solve unforeseen challenges as they arise



  • 5+ years of interface design for mobile and web applications
  • Degree in art, design, new media, or related design field
  • Expert knowledge of Axure, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency of human interface guidelines for iOS and Android
  • Thorough understanding of web standards and best practices
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Professional work habits
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Willingness to take risks when providing creative solutions
  • Able to fail fast and pivot
  • General understanding of software development
