Overview

Provide stellar internal client service to employees across all levels of the organization. Primary areas of focus include enhancing employee engagement through corporate event planning and execution, with a consistent emphasis on wellness. Events include fundraising, company Olympics, theme parties, and more!  Excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Human Resources. Responsibilities

  • Perform all stages of planning and execution for all employee engagement activities.
  • Emphasis on internal client service, creating the best possible employee experience for both onsite and remote employees across multiple states.
  • Enhance camaraderie across the organization by executing the culture plan and bringing fresh ideas to the organization.
  • Collaborate with Marketing’s Internal Communications team to prepare employee communications and materials.
  • Partner with Marketing Department to lead employee volunteer committee.
  • Prepare and participate in social events and philanthropic activities.
  • Manage the digital employee store.  Order swag from vendors, maintain inventory, fill orders, and deliver swag to associates with a smile!
  • Team “lead” and champion for our internal wellness program.
  • Onboard new team members by conducting employee orientations.
  • Make recommendations for culture improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation around internal processes for all events.
  • Support the recruiting team as needed (sourcing candidates, phone screens, etc.)
  • Complete ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced work environment (office, marketing, gym, retail, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Confident and articulate with advanced presentation skills that display confidence and knowledge for a variety of audiences. 
  • Concise and grammatically correct written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Aptitude for building rapport and establishing credibility and trustworthiness
  • Energetic extrovert with stellar interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Resourceful problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter who works well independently, utilizing creativity and resourcefulness to reach appropriate conclusions
  • Can do, client focused attitude
  • Team player with a willingness to make significant contributions, no matter how small or large the task
